I think the BeoVision 7 is a good decision depending on how large your second lounge is, mine is quite small compared with our main lounge. You may wish to wait for the next version of the BeoVision 7 with the BeoSystem 3 chassis

As stated this is a deflection driver issue, so your friend should check the voltages and signals on PCB4 which is the Power Supply and Deflection module.

You often find that technically a B&O product may work in country, but B&O does not market it in that country for reasons only B&O marketing department have the answers too. Also many products are launched in countries in rotation often over a period of greater than a year. A good recent example is the EarSat 2 which was available and advertised

Hong Kong uses the same PAL I as the UK, also power, mains frequency etc. A lot of B&O products have the same type numbers for products for the two countries meaning the products will work in both counrties without modfication, but there are some exceptions listed below, but even with different type numbers, many can be changed via the Service Menu

I will need to study your codes because I do not really understand what you have sent My numbers are in Hex meaning 4 bits is one digit from 1 to F where "1111" is "F" and "0000" is 0 It looks as if yours are in Hex as well because I see "9" and "D" in a couple of records If I remember correctly the

With the Beo4 the volume up is code 00 xx 60 where "60" is code for volume up and "64" is the code for volume down. If you hold your finger on the Beo4 volume up or down button, it actually keeps sending the code 60 or 64 with a delay between each code transmission until you take your finger off the button. When you say "as soon as I unplug the router" do you mean unpluging the power to the router and leaving the phone line connected ? OR do you mean unplugging the router phone line and leaving the router power connected or unplugging both ?
