What is in your opinion a reasonable price ?
If it is an LED version of the BV5 for a reasonable price, I would be interested. Have to see what the picture quality was like.

I would be wiling to pay the same sort of price an inch as I would for my Avant. That would

Actually I think the Loewe Reference system has a style which could have easily been adopted by B&O - the speaker design in particular is beautifully simple and inspired. Agree with 10% about the DVB-S - in the UK the only real choice in satellite is Sky which cannot be built in and if you have Sky, you might as well have Sky+ which gives you seamless

Page 80 Line 12 is one. I have seen another - but cannot remember where. I did tell Nick so he will be thoroughly sick of this!

Unable to get on either. Never mind. I must confess that I would not consider a 103" set - I would prefer a 42-50" set and have a projector for films which would be the only thing I would use such a big screen for. Seriously considering this at present.

  • Re: White LX5500 in Consett

It is rather gorgeous! And that is from someone who does not like white products! It would have been about £1300 when new which in today's money would be about £2000. Worth every penny then! I bought a rosewood one in 1993 for £1450.
