I think Flappo has hit the proverbail nail on the head on this one.

IMHO I think that the only way BL4000's would fit is on their sides, i.e. facing upwards - the footprint of a pair of Beolab 3's on stands is almost negligible, why not go for them? Sorry I don't this will work in practice - or theory - since the spacing between the speakers is too small even if they do fit, for any discernible separation

Either solder longer cables on yourself or buy female-to-female Powerlink adaptors from any B&O spares specialist. The only one I know of is AVA www.avaservices.co.uk .

I believe there will be no swap-out for a screen with a dead pixel. Industry standard is something like 6 dead pixels within an area of an inch to swap out the panel. That's flat screens for you, nothing to do with B&O. I think it would have to be a very sympathetic dealer to consider a swap-out - perhaps it could be used as a display model

I don't believe the region coding of a DVD player is an issue anymore. Add Beoport and listen to internet radio stations.

Moving this on - I quite liked Peters suggestion too - I don't mind paying premium prices for premium goods and innovative design, but apart from a few speakers (3,5,9) and possibly the BV5/BV7-40 MK3 nothing much has really impressed from the recent crop of products.
