I think you could only control vol of the mcl2p speakers from the bm as the mcl2p doesn't have an ir eye facility ie no remote operation - you would need a beolink active with eye and an ml cable but don't know if the bm4500 is ml capable tony

Having now thought about it I had the same problem some time ago with one of my setups, didn't get resolved, but may be a software problem however reverting back to a bl1000 solved it ie shift radio - maybe if you have shift listed then that might work with radio to bring up phono give it a whizz t
