Ok I think if you want to have it to blend with your other kit and to control from the B&O remote, they are plus points, but it's (was) overpriced in my opinion for what you get and is very choosy about disc formats compared to many other brands which will play just about everything you put in!

I'm sure someone will know the correct answer, but for my information, are you saying that you have a single STB controller fitted inside your BV3 and that this 1 unit can control 2 separate STBs? I thought the STBC menu allowed selection of the STB, but only one selection at a time. If it can control 2 then that's good news!

The individual who began this 'discussion', must be overjoyed at its consequences!

Not seen anything to suggest they are, but sure someone will know. I have a couple of LC2s that have seemingly died and which I've just stuck away in a cupboard (hoping they will repair themselves!), so I would be interested if anyone knows if either the LC1s or LC2s can be rectified! Doubt it though.
I like the product very much. But what really gets me is the marketing approach. Common B&O...you were using "the Torture-chamber" approach 15 years ago! Cant you think of a better way to market your products. Wake-Up for pity-sake! 10%
B&O "Common". Hardly! Agree about the 'Torture

Good reason enough for me Lee. Thanks.

Reasonable question I think Sven. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, so perhaps there may be some good explanation. Why not try again, perhaps with a new thread titled 'Here is the new BV10'? Good luck!

T he best solutions are often simple! You should see a good improvement in picture quality as well, I'm pretty sure the VCR scart only has composite output, while the TV connector gives out RGB. For this, you'll need to connect it to either the VTAPE or AV connector on the BV as per Keith's post above. Hadn't thought of the RGB output

HOW VERY ASHAMED AM I! I've sorted it out, here's how & why. I tried 3 fully wired scart leads and all wouldn't facilitate automatic switching to widescreen from my Sky box. Stumped, or so I thought! I did a quick 'Google' of the Sky Digibox issue and almost immediately a site was telling me that only ONE of the two scart connections

Thanks Keith and others. Much obliged.
