Graham, How can the capacitor issues on the CD section be overcome? I've just been given a BC9000 and the CD player indeed has some issues, it takes the CD, starts spinning and stops right after to re-open the sliding door... Don't know whether this is due to the well-known cap. issue or to something else, though..

Hi, I've just acquired a pair of Pentavox and, as expected, the midrange drivers are rotten. Looking at this thread, can someone please tell me the reference /specs of the midrange drivers, old & new? I'm trying to find a replacement for those, having no B&O dealer around. If not, could Peter Pan please take a picture of the midrange

Well, in theory, you can't.. BeoLab 2500 is made with a basic Powerlink input, without L/R setup, it has no phono inputs, the only solution that might work (without being 100% sure) would be to use the latest phono/powerlink cables sold for the new ICE powered BeoLabs (3/9/4), that work in mono mode: each cable connects to the phono plug at one

Quite frankly, when it comes to bigger sizes than 50 inch, why not choose the projector way? So much easier to buy, setup, and..replace if it breaks down!

A combined BeoLink remote control/BeoCom DECT phone. Both share the same design: top screen/display, numeric keypad, battery compartment. Both share the same operating principles, move with you around the house, all that's needed to Beo4 is a loudspeaker below its screen & a microphone inside the "O" from the "Bang & Olufsen"

Great, thanks a lot for the link! I was trying to find comments about the BeoLab Penta, over the 5000, I so much love the design of the 5000, but the Pentas are definitely one step ahead in terms of sound..yet, I still can't make up my mind!

Hi BeoWorlders, I remember reading on the forum a long test of all BeoLabs in the current & past range, made in UK at a dealer's premises, testing BeoLab 5 , 5000, Penta, 3, with & without subwoofer, & giving a detailed review of which is best & in which conditions. Where can I find this review again? I've tried the search by

What is the point in having a 3D TV, if there are no 3D movies?

I think the new BeoMaster 5 software update is a good reason to hope for its release sooner than later..after all, if it's possible to link several BS5s & if they mention "audio system" instead of "BS5" in the user guide, there has to be a reason.. the only I know is that the system will look like this:

Talking about gapless playback, I thought BS5 could do this, I can't believe that a EUR 5,000 machine can't handle this, when an Ipod Classic costing 20 times less can do it. Besides, even in the B&O family, my BeoSound 2 could play gapless, you heard the same 3 light"pops" at the end of each track, like with Itunes, but there
