It looks decent enough as a photo display. But definitely not B&Oish. It looks too dated and screams 2001. B&O's design is all about pushing the boundaries and setting new trends, that photo display could easily be designed by any electronic manufacturer. Don't anyone think B&O is brave for breaking the trend and decides to put it's

Bulgarien: Before ICEpower i was saying the same..It must bee woodo or something like that. No need to think about the electronic, cable and so on. Just plug and play .But studys shows that specialy the condenstor, that are a active component, ned time to "relax" You have to understand something. This is pure High End and I promice that you

mecca: I had my 8000's serviced. They all talked about upgrading amplifiers, for improved base response. If I wanted true audiophile equipment, i would have purchased other brands. I love the sound and the look of BnO, so we're outfitting a 800meter penthouse with it. There is clearly nothing like it. As for improved base, we added 2 powered

I doubt that Kharma is using ICE. Take a look at the description of thier amplifiers. It is a wide-bandwidth design and has a totally different feedback method employed. I think Bulgarien was just listing the audiophile companies who uses digital amplifiers becasue many of them aren't using ICE.

beodim: wonderfulelectric: pedrompinto: Just received the July newsletter and it's correct the new B&O "iPod" is as it was showed up here . Looks like the new player is more handsome than I thought. The previous pictures didn't do it justice. The layered keypad makes it look very user friendly. Are you sure this is the new B&O

Sounds great. I think Icepower will push best sound for price limit. I have no idea why people say ICEpower sounds cold. In fact, it should sound warmer than most amplifiers since the frequency response isn't the best in the upper registers but something tells me that it will no longer be a problem after a few years.

That is true about what you said. Grounding of cables is a great idea but what about the grounding of power amplifiers? An even more expensive solution then a simple power conditioner. It yields great results without any degradation to sound quality. One problem though, how are you gonna remove noise from your power source ? True that power conditioners

JOV: Yes, you are right: The frame looks a little like plastic. In my opinion the BV9 is (designwise) a step back (compared to the BV5). BV5 was understatement at its best. Strong geometrical lines, the frame just matte brushed aluminum. Invisible speakers... BV9 is a poser: Huge, shiny, glossy. Look: Here I am! Anyway: Picture quality is stunning,

You can go www.psaudio.com . They are very famous for providing good value. Coincidentally they are using Icepower with their own unique gainstage for their range of power amplifiers which rocked the American hifi press.
