I've noticed that the stand of my newly acquired Avant(US) only resets to the off position when powering off locally. If it receives the "All Off" command from any other link room it does not reset to the stand's off position but simply turns off the screen. However, if it receives the "All Off" locally it does. Is this typical

Just got an Avant with very low use. The stand however is a little noisy when turning. Is there any sort of maintenance (Cleaning, Lubricating, tension adjustments, etc.) that can be done to the internal components of the stand?

I loved the combination. Also, I ended up using the SD card almost exclusively after a while because of it's convenience. Of course getting good quality MP3 files on the card makes a big difference but once you get good playlists in high quality in various cards and folders its great and you never think about it again.
