Many observers believe that just such a new technology is in fact already here...internet downloaded video.

Only if you count the expected upgrade for the BeoVision 7/40 next summer.

Yes you can use other monitors. You'll need one that can accept either 15-pin VGA or full RGB+H-V video A pure monitor would be best. You may have to fiddle a bit with the picture geometry to get it just right. Panasonic monitors are a natural fit, as they share the chassis with the BeoVision 4, and in the stores we had great success with the Fujitsus

Actually I'm a VW guy...but the photo is a side effect of the relationship Audi has with B&O. I did a favor for an Audi Dealer here in the area, at the request of Audi/USA and B&O-DK...and Voila! one weekend I've got free use of an A5 with the B&O system in it. Composing a full review.

OK, So everyone know TripEnglish is a B&O retailer (although he doesn't/can't say where), Alex has added his affiliation to his signature, and congrats on the promotion BTW! So who else here is 'on the inside'? And not just B&O. Some frequent contributors here have alluded to being 'in the industry'; and of course by

Not talking about

j0hnbarker: I think some of us could buy into what you're saying about quality of materials etc. if only we didn't know that the panels were sourced from other manufacturers that use these in their own products, that are themselves sold at a much lower price.... Perhaps the whiskey analogy should have involved leaving an empty bottle from the

Haven't assumed anything of the sort, my imaginary buyer asks "supposedly good bottle". What I am supposing is that if I go to the legal shop, I am in a licensed shop, buying a licensed product...even if I skip past the aged single malts, the aged single barrels, the Jack Daniels, even the Evan Williams, and settle for the Fighting Gamecock
