This was the stopper for Teletext? I was unaware of this ... I assumed it was a legacy issue in that they had set the standard according to the amount of RAM the could put on board in the early days and had no way of working around it ... ... incidentally, one of the guys that worked on it in the early days came to have his TV fixed at my place a while

Yes, I have a brand new and unused 5 meter one. Sadly it is not cheap ... £25 plus the postage. Neil

Hi, I usually retail these at £70. Can take yours off your hands, but to be honest, unless you are going to collect, it could start to get expensive with the postage. You might be better off waiting for one to come up on ebay. Cheers, Neil

Yes, but just a small drop.

My advise would be slightly damp cloth with mild detergent to get the serious grease off, then a damp cloth to remove the detergent, then a tea towel with lots of elbow grease before the water dries off. Gets great results on my avant, AV9000, AV5 and MX Tvs ... BV1 should be the same. Neil

Hi Jack, Yes, one and the same :o) I didnt find a plate yet only a complete motorised floor stand and it would be criminal to break it up. I have a few more sources to try. Neil
