PhilJefferson: Keith Saunders: From a PSTN line view point I think the UK, French & German Basestations are the same. They do each have different type numbers however which you may wish to check. UK Type 0636 Germany Type 0632 France Type 0639 Given, everything you have said three points stand out, first your basestation and handsets work at your

There is no reason why they cannot order the part, especially if you have even found the part number for them. I would ask them if they would be kind enough to order you a spare part if not go to another dealer, only dealers or official repair engineers can order spares.

smartsparky: Hi - newbie alert! My parents have a Becom 2400 on which most of the numbers have stopped working. I've investigated and I've found the root of the problem being the keypad membrane has broken at the connector. Are there any replaceable parts for these? Maybe if anyone has a broken one of these (buttons okay though!) could you let

The red light indicates that it has some news, whether that is no contact with base, time not set, no dial tone, or missed calls. If you have multiple hadsets you may have to check the others depending on the problem. To find out what the news is, simply pick up the phone that is flashing and press the OK buttom and it will display for example 'missed

  • Re: Pin codes

I bought a BS3000 in Oct 2004 and although it had the PIN code facility it was not activated from factory, so the customer could decide to use it or not. I think it became factory set at the begining of 2005.
