If you want connections then it has to be BeoVision 7-40. If connections are not important but picture quality is, then there are many other B&O sets to look at including the BeoVision 8 which I think is an excellent tv at an excellent price. Otherwise, if cost of BeoVision 7-40 is too high then it has to be a different brand, possibly Loewe although

A great read thanks. Not sure I like the fact they are trying to make a martyr out of David Lewis (as I see it.) Yes, his design accomplishments over the years have been fantastic and his contribution to the success of B&O is significant but it can go to your head, which I don't like or support. OK Bingo thanks. I was thinking about it for my Mum's Avant but to be honest she wouldn't be fussed either way. I am not sure I fully understand why having an SD signal means it can't be converted to a digital HD one? I am sure I did see a tube tv set in a high street electrical shop that was receiving an HD signal. Simon.

If you examine the feedback you will see that the only products that sell are batteries, which will be genuine of course, thus ensuring a good batch of generally positive feedback. The reds look amazing with the dark grey tv. I think you have to be brave to buy them because they do make such a statement but I think they do really work in this setup.
