For cleaning i only use an 'e-cloth' for that smear-free chemical-free finish (i just noticed how that sounded - i liked the product that much i bought the company) this applies to most b+o not just the beo4 , ive not heard anyone on the forum mention them so thought id add it here jay

if it was too cheap or even free the stores would soon become graveyards of mistreated b+o , and the smell of foam rot would be overpowering ,

in the last couple of years ive owned a few tvs as ive slowly been able to afford the next model up, i had the mx4000 with some cx100s which was at the time better than any hi-fi id ever owned, i cant remember the mx5000 so im guessing was nothing new by then, the mx7000 actice speakers blew me away and to this day i wish id kept it av9000 pretty useless

I personally think a 8-10 year warranty would show B&O off for what they really are in the marketplace , they would stand out from other companys even more as they quite rightly should, their products are built to last which is a rarity these days and if a fault did slip through the net im sure they would be the first to put thier hands up and sort

mobeyone: Hmm, well I just removed and replaced mine by having to remove screws!! The overall lower display which houses the silver cube is one fixed piece and fixed to the amp via 6 screws. Once these are removed, and being very very carefull the display is also connected via 4 smaller screws which need to be removed. The slide switch was a little

Xseries: Another question please - how do you remove it !! i must admit i just put my fingernail behind the notch just over bang and olufsen logo and gently pulled (ah-ha the glass ones may not have this) although i dont recommend you follow my poor example incase you cause some damage or yours is glass im sure there is someone reading who knows the
