>>I absolutely love my BeoSound 5 and can't imagining being without it.<< It's all about expectations I guess. In my opinion one does have to bite bite into the bullet of maintaining a 2nd digital library on top of what one is using for the Ipod. For me this is tough to swallow but unless a high capacity ipod touch comes out it will

Last time I checked on WAV files would play gapless and I can't create those in a mac environment which I have. Is there an updated release plan for software improvements. Is the BS5 actually selling well? I found few albums that were release digital only in the US - i.e. the new Joss Stone is available only on Itunes or as an Import. Also the virgin

Agree that Kaleidescape is the Rolls Royce. For me the handbrake solution works OK and I am mr lazy when it comes to maintaining my library with digital content. I pop in the DVD, pick my file name and import. 98% of the times that works OK. I then copy the file to my NAS where Boxee sees it. Few seconds later it will show up with cover art and description

Glad you liked it. I probably try it out next time I get to London. I used to go pretty regular but now with the weak $ I cut down a bit on european vacations and just head over the atlantic to see family. Cheers JK

handbrake.fr will do the DVD on a mac, for pc as well .... boxee and plex will automatically find metadata for you ... for CDs I use Itunes ...

I guess the difference is, with Kaleidescape you stay legal, with Tvix and other's you'r not really. Not that this seem to matter much these days ..... I would look at MacMini since there is an B&O STB and then take a look at Plex or Boxee. Noted both are in some sort of development stage but I use Boxee for about a year now on my ATV and

I think we do have a lot of open questions from last time since that meeting fell through the cracks, or did I miss the boat on that? Cheers JK

Du musst den halt "hacken", out of the box geht das leider nicht. Ich nutze die eigene ATV software ueberhaupt nicht mehr, sondern boxee.tv und greife damit auf meine DVD Sammlung zu die auf meinem readynas liegt. Gruesse JK
