I have to agree with the glacial remark. I'm not really up to speed on tellies, but I trust you guys when you say they're not up to speed in that department. When it comes to audio, they sure are slow, their products really doesn't give any feeling of buying cream of the crop. The BS5/BM5 doesn't even have the useability of an iPod touch

There shouldn't be a problem running the hdd upside down. The Mac Mini uses a laptop drive, so it should be fine. I don't know about the optical drive, though.
