Interesting. Whilst we are talking about this subject - would this one-way issue be the reason why i'm having trouble with Beolink 7000 'talking to' my Avant TV? Thats interesting - I too have a beolink 7000 type no.1541 with RDS written on the back. I tried it with my BM5500 the other day & my Beolink 7000 doesnt seem to control the 5500 at all. It wouldnt even switch it on or off. I concluded that the beolink 7000 must have been only intended for the 6500/7000 system (which i've also got) - but your
