well... hope you two work it out -as the more i look at the 3000, the less likely i thk that the 4400 slide would work for you. the tuning bar seems much thicker on the 3000. w/ regards to my project -i am in the unfortunate situation where the slides that i need for my 3000 are the non-wheeled ones (vol/treb/bass/bal) and i have to mod the 4400's
-
i may be able to help. i will be starting a 3000 resto shortly that will include replacement of some of the slides from a broken 4400. i will chk your listed part numbers against my manuals, but i *believe* they are identical... i'll let you know what i find / can part with. are you in the states? ++++edit++++ my 3000 and 4400 are in different locales
-
agreed... i'd likely pass on the watches and u70's and replace w/ the 2400 and oh, um..., hmmm..., beomic 2000

Peter : 60s - Beolab 5000 system (a cheat as I get 5 products in one choice!) 70s - Beomaster 2400 or Beogram 4000 80s - Beolab 8000 system 90s - Beocenter 9500 00s - nothing as much as above - Beolab 8000s I suppose. how can i top that list? i'd say ditto... but not to be boring, i will make mine second picks... :-) 60s - beomaster 1000 70s - beomaster

thx for the reply. it is a mkI the set is excellent -not worn out. i cleaned the contacts as well. all seemd fine until the drop... btw, the rest of the phone works fine -just won't come out of "battery flat"
-
@andy, et al whatever happened here? i have a phone that ended up in a similar state after a drop. 1.) dropped the phone 2.) everything seemed ok, so i put it back on the base. 3.) a few days later -started "bleeping" and showed "battery flat" 4.) ran the 9#9#9*655 code 5.) set it back on base and noticed the base light stayed red

sounds like a classic mcl installation. search the forum for "mcl" or "master control link"

RussR: Well, I don't know about the house, but I've already sent an email asking Annie Malarborn to marry me. I think I have my priorities in order here, Russ ...lol! not if i beat you to it... malaBOrn -all the b&o i need. the rest was just awful -though the deck looked fun. jeff

soundproof: I understand that the next competition is for the BL3. What's that going to be, then? Not all balls are meant to be kicked? hahahaha! (oops -my first emoticon - ever!) @burantek Well, it's not as bad as you think. The folios we base the transcriptions on are quite well known and there were a number of copies prepared in his time
-
hee... great link... my favorite excerpt: "The interpretation of the lettering is by" makes one wonder how any of his works were ever accurately transcribed! how many hands must have crossed his work to land with what we classify as "his work" today? hmmm...
