I believe the Virgin box (not that I'd ever even seen one) would work with a generic extender using its own remote. A Beo4 can't control it anyway without additional hardware like something from IRtrans or Lintronic, so the usage would be the same as if you had the box located somewhere visible - you'll still need the Virgin remote for changing
