    Probably a coincedence. Capacitors at the power supply board will probably be to blame. Replace the caps, you can't really trust anything before that has been taken care of. Measuring DC ohmic value on an antenna won't tell you its impedance. Martin

    Luca, It's optical. There's a lamp in the tracking housing at the foot of the carriage. An interrupter, operated by the tonearm, interrupts the light from the lamp towards the sensor, reflecting the angle of the tonearm. Normally, you cannot see the light from this lamp because it's in a closed housing to avoid ambient light disturbing the

    So wind/rewind is fine in that it will wind/rewind a full tape length without stopping ? Did you replace all three belts ? Martin
