    Sensotronic, So, it started two days ago and has never happened previously ? I would be surprised if the problem was with the Netgear router or extreme base station unless you have made some major changes in the last week ?

    To provide further clarification of the connections for a Mark III cable and plug, the following points should be noted:- The screen around the brown and green cables are joined together at the plug either end and these joined screens are connected to pin 2, it should be noted that the screens are NOT connected to the din plug metal shield as is often

    Other points about the Mark III are that they have five (5) pins connected, the four coloured wires plus the screen Mark II cables have one less wire which is the blue wire. I will provide a picture later.

    So there is no mis-understanding about Mark III Powerlink cable, below is a picture. You will note it has 4 wires -- Yellow -- Blue which are both un-screened and Brown & Green which each have their own screen. By the dent (locating guide) on the DIN plug in the plastic is a trangle. I will try and find a good picture of a Mark II cable later

    I purchased two Dynalights from Joel Electric for review, but concluded they were not a good replacement for the LC2 The manufacturer is in Denmark and you can view further details HERE They sell via resellers and are often re-branded which is why you did not find many references via Google. The attractions were that they are fully compatible with Beo4

    Interesting problem, I have heard of this type of problem before. Do you live in a flat or high building in London ? If so, is there many flats in teh same block ? Have you always had this problem ? Does it happen to all your BeoCom 6000's ? Does the problem happen all the time or just when you have good weather ?

Many people fail to review the spec of the phone they are about to purchase to find out how sensitive the receiver is, however in saying that its often not easy to find out that data either.     Henry, We are all working hard here at the workbench. The BeoSound 2 and the Beoplayer have not had software updates for sometime. The latest updates can be found on the B&O web site HERE The latest version for BeoSound is 2.51 and for Beoplayer is 4.61

    They do work like the LC2 in as much as you can store light settings, program the coloured keys and numbers etc. The LC2 is/was single zone switch whereas the Grafik Eye is a multi-zone switch which allows you to have various light levels on all the zones.
