@mobe The display covers only are held on with.............you guessed it. Doube sided foam tape!!! And guess what, in true B&O tradition......the foam rots!!

You need Mk II fully wired cables to get the displays working. I found this out recently when I let one of my Mk II's go with a pair of BL5000's I sold recently. My dealer had only got Mk III available as replacement. That'll do I thought. But alas, no display. Replaced with a Mk II the following week and no problem with the displays. Now

Correct Peter. Makes sense as well. The din socket takes it's signal before the volume and tone controls, out to a graphic equaliser and back in so you can then control the volume from the front panel of the 9500.

Peter is quite correct. The only model with RCA pre amp out sockets is the BC9000. With the 9500 you will have to use the powerlink socket and make up a special lead. The din socket that Peter says that the 9500 has was designed for a graphic equaliser (in/out) and is not volume controlled. You will have to make up a lead for the powerlink socket I'm
