Probably big for my space ! My wife will kill me ! I need something really small to put on shelf ....
The size difference isn't actually that great BTW, I arranged these according to my idea of improving sound quality... the 2200's are extremely directional because of the cone tweeters though - they

Welcome to the forum, Chasepoes! You are not alone, the "muffled" high end of the unmodified Pentas has been discussed a number of times. Actually, that mod of yours is suggested in this thread (starts in German, but ends in English) among other improvements. I believe it is a matter of taste if you like this additional treble or not - but

If it doesn't need to be something fancy and official, try your nearest electrical hardware supplier...

Just bought a Beogram 1000 and wish I had more old music... Carola - La Mamma (1965)
7GB/s using DDR2 667 in Dual-Channel interleaved mode, You must install at least one memory bank to ensure normal operation." I second the recommendation on the EVB ESR meter. It has been worth its weight (not that much though ) in gold! It really saves time & trouble because most of the time you can measure the caps without even unsoldering them first. But, even if you are experienced in assembly work and electronics, I recommend to get the ready built unit instead of

Pretty much similar to what my BG6000 did when I got it. At first the stops were seemingly random. Then I replaced all electrolytic (including tantals) caps from the control circuitry, and the stops got much more regular: either right after start, or when the arm reached the 45 rpm landing zone (wide black stripe) while playing. I never found the real
