If we assume for a minute that the CX50's will withstand -40 degrees C, one thing is for sure, the link eye of the Beolink Passive will not, or should I say it will not work at -40 degrees C, but it will recover once the temperature gets to an acceptable level. The IR is next to the socket in the Mark II as below

Very easy, If you look at the two brass pins in the charger base, if they round, they are for a Mark I handset, if they are elongated, then they are for a Mark II. In fact if you try and place a Mark II handset on a Mark I charger it will not make contact, just as well as they are different voltages.

I have noted this new feature and I have (7) in the brackets, however I have read all the e-mail's in my inbox, but not deleted them. Does the number in brackets really mean un-opened e-mail's or e-mail's sent to you and still in your Inbox ?

Well, it may be possible, but I certainly have not tried it, but I would offer the following points:- The Australian BeoTalk has a type number of 0812 and the US has a type 0810 meaning there are differences, but often are just the power adapters are different. CAT5 cable is not suitable, whilst I am sure some people have used it particularly for short runs it is suited to all signals being balanced pairs of signal wires, Masterlink is not. I strongly suggest using the correct type of ML cable.

When you say a grey screen, do you mean the whole screen goes grey ? how long does this happen ? A grey screen of any sort is normally a menu screen
