To connect a 2 channel record deck to the 6000, you connect it to the Aux 2CH socket. You need to make sure the RIAA is on - there is a two position switch underneath for this. The 5500 does not have Powerlink sockets. The question does have to be why though - the amplifier in the 5500 is better! The Beolink passive is about 30W a channel - good for a link room though. However really designed for a newer system.

As a medical student, I would have thought that you wouldn't believe the government spin. No pay rise for 4 years now and having to fund the rises of our staff. Not complaining but you shouldn't believe all you read!

I think that most dealers will want someone with a proven sales record and preferably some B&O training behind them. Unfortunately a number of stores have closed so there are some good people around. I, for one, would not presume that I had anything like the skills required.
