I think it is true that many people are disappointed with the Serene, me included. I have a Sony Ericsson K800i used with the Earsat 2 The big positives are the design and looks and general woo factor The negatives are not 3G and price fairly high even for a great looking phone and quite a few others. If you can wait, then you may have a better option

I do agree, the AVANT picture still takes a lot of beating.

I have 19 in my list on one page. However, I logged out and back in again, then open each of the 19 again and when I got to message 15 it went back to no brackets I cannot explain this situation
-
Van, I had seven (7) in the brackets, so I did as you suggested and logged out and then logged in again and I still had seven. So, I went down my list of e-mail and read (opened) everyone of them again, the number in the brackets went down to one (1) So, I opened them all again and I still have one in the brackets.

Andy, I trust you had a full nights sleep and are fully awake, let me see it is now 7:20am and I have been at work (that's money earning work) since 6:15am, time for my coffee break.
-
Morgan, I suggest you look HERE to get an idea. Assuming your AVANT is in full working order, I expect that a lot of people would be interested.

As highlighted by Beoaus, if you intend to have many (greater than one) link TV's there can be a problem with long lengths of cable (greater than 30 metres because the aerial only has a single screen, so you can get reduced signal and possible interference depending on cable routing. So, going to link rooms where the cable is not to long is fine
-
Have you enabled the RF (link) output in the menu of the AVANT ? if not that will be the most likely reason for lack of picture. I am assuming you have sound in the link from the DVD etc ?

Stuart, Using your spare Australian transformer for a PSTN box would not be an option as the wiring and voltage are different. You will need to use a step-down transformer to the US power connector.
