Weebyx: moxxey: We started this discussion about the BV7-40 turning off without warning. My TV has done this twice this week. Grrr. Anyone found any news on this? Nothing from my dealer. Simply been told to wait for the new sw update Can you tell me which source you are watching when the tv turns off ? My tv only does it when i am watching a movie on

I just talked to my dealer today, and he has talked to Struer. B&O is now looking into the "crash to off" feature that has been introduced in SW4.24, but as of now they have no timeschedule for when it will be solved. All he could say was the usual "it is the first we have heard about it" But i am confident that they will find

halid: Hi again, since my dealer is located 250 km away : is there any way I can update the STB-list by myself, or a way for my dealer to do it on distance ? Regards Hans No! :( The dealer has a laptop with a RS232 serial -> Masterlink cable that needs to be physically plugged in the tv. /Weebyx

halid: OK, I understand. I need the Xbox in the STB-list also for the Beo5. Thanks !! / Hans Yes, the Beo5 itself cannot control other boxes than B&O, the reason there is a XBox in the Beo5 is so the buttons of the original XBox remote is available on the Beo5 screen. But still the tv needs the XBox in the STB list, and the IR cable /Weebyx

halid: Thanks Weebyx for all information. I also have noticed that the Xbox is included in the Beo5, but I cant get it working. I managed to get the Lutron-commands since it is an Accessorie but the Xbox is listed as an Source, seems to be some difference there ? Regards Hans It will only work if you get the XBox configured via the TV, then the Beo5

halid: Nope, I'm not able to get it running. Does anyone know if something in the STB-list uses RCA-codes as Magnus mentioned earlier ? Regards Hans You need to have the X-Box included in your TV's settop box controller, then you can control the X-Box via your Beo5(There is a Beo5 configuration for X-Box also). All you need is a IR-Cable and

halid: Strange - when I bought hte 7-40 ( march this year ) the dealer said that the X-box could NOT be included in the STB-list ? I will give him a call monday morning and ask him to check once again with Denmark. Regards Hans Well, i had it in my old tv before the new one arrived, so it can be done, i don't have an XBOX, but just in case :) The

halid: Thanks both of you. Weebyx, are you sure that the Xbox can be included in the STB list ? Does that include the old X-box as well ? Best regards Hans Yes, there is a "Microsoft XBox" in the settop box list the dealer has, it does'nt mention if it is the new or old one. But i bet thr IR-Codes are pretty much the same. I don't

halid: I have a old X-box that I would like to hide and control with my Beo 5. If I buy another IR-cable and connect to my 7-40, does it let through the IR-signal from the Beo 5 "unconverted" or does the 7-40 convert my signal before it sends it through the STB-cable ? Best regards Hans It is converted to x-box ir codes, if you have you dealer
