The 2400 only has about 25-30 watts of output power per channel, which can be insufficient for large drivers. When I had a 2400, I tried it with many different speakers, and they are not powerful enough to power big speakers. Instead, the optimum speaker setting would be a efficient design in a small 2- or 3-way package.

What a nice offer, count me in!

A rule of thump is that the newer MMCx series will fit all turntables made after 1982/83. The Beogram 4002 were made from 1975-1979/80, you'll need a MMMC20-series stylus (MMC20/MMC20E/MMC20EN/MMC20CL) or the MMCxxxx-series (MMC3000/MMC4000/MMC5000/MMC6000) or the old SP15.

B&O record players have a unique suspension system which makes the Beogram very "Dance-proof" in concept. There are three stransport screws under the platter (or under the bottom) which can be locked for safer transport.

Hello and welcome to Beoworld, The 1602, assuming that it is an american variety of the 1902, is a fine turntable for the novice B&O user. There are a couple of people who can rebuild your cartrigde, I would recommend Axel Schürholz from http://www.schallplattennadeln.de/ Greetings, Søren Hammer
Well Søren, looks like you lost your main system.
Hehe I hurried to move the system back before my Father had bolted it to the place! My back hurts a little after moving the 30 kg heavy MS150.2's and the 20+ kg Beomaster back and forth I am driving the 170 kilometres to my B&O specialist

Was hosting a party last week, had set up the primary system in my parents' living room. The 8000 + MS150.2's sounds way better in a large room (40 square metres) compared to my own room of 16 square meters.
