Razlaw: Anymore news on 5.0? Not yet
-
steph: Can we rip DVD on the TViX (no problem with DRM) ? You can make an ISO file of your DVD. Tvix reads the ISO file like it is a full DVD, with menus and chapters.

B&O recommends DVico TVix 6500 or 7000 as a HD mediacenter. It can be added in the PUC list and can be controlled by Beo5 and Beo4 already. I have the 6500A and it works perfect to watch videos in diferent formats, play music and see photos. It can have a built in HD DVB-T too.

Razlaw: ?? Last one, at least in Spain, is E910**FI1

koning: Are there also technische specifications available? http://www.beosound5.com/Default.aspx?lang=en

Keith Saunders: Can I bring members attention to the fact that there is now a Beosound 5 forum under the products section and Lee has already posted details about the launch event in Denmark Right! I wanted to say "Thanks, Lee" for pics and explanations, but I can't there. I do it here. The HiRe Beosound 5 photo looks great as screensaver
-
Yes, Tom, I did. And clock works fine too
-
Thank You very much, Keith, for this great work you are doing. You are making the Beo5 a complete remote control. Now, I'll wait for the generic NEC template, I think I found the codes for my Fonestar RDTS-680. Regards

You can see more pics here Text is in spanish, but photos are in universal language

As far as I know, you only need digital cables. If the labs don't turn on, maybe it's because the BS9000 is on Option 0, and it doesn't send signal to the labs, because they have to be connected to the BV. It's possible I'm wrong. My BS9000 is Mk1 and doesn't have digital outputs.
