Not at all Terry, The BeoSystem 3 video processor which resides in the BV-9 does an excellent job of handling the re-scaling of 1080p sources down to 720p. Frankly, even on screen sizes as large as 65" I find it terribly difficult to tell the difference between 180 and 720...at normal viewing distances. Don't avoid a great deal on a BV-9 based

I will be shocked if it takes more than a few months to get video from the BeoMaster 5 onto a B&O TV screen. 2 thoughts on this line of inquiry: 1) Difficult as it may be at this early stage, we must keep in mind that the BeoSound 5 and BeoMaster 5 are intertwined products, but not inextricably so. They will ultimately be 2 different items. The

Yes the BeoLab 5's understand what is going on. The 'display/data' code sent down the PowerLink cable gives them the source and they switch accordingly.

BeoTex, Both Motorola and Scientific Atlanta are lazy/efficient in that they don't often change their IR codes and software. Assuming that you have a fairly recent PUC installed (3-4 years old), chances are that you can find a device on the ist from the same STB manufacturer and it will work just fine.

Pay the 200 euros. It'll be worth it. The entire top section of the speaker has to be taken apart and removed.

benjnz: Puncher: Acrylic is, in fact, cheap plastic. But produce it in white and it becomes expensive when you sell it Acrylic brings its own issues as well. Ask Apple about the Mac 'Cube".

Also let me add that many projectors have their own on-board video processors; perhaps including the Leica. The issue at hand in telling the BS-3 wether you are using a Sim2 or a Samsung, at the moment, is that the BS-3 can process in such a way as to compliment what it knows the projector is going to do. Obviously with an unknown projector, the results

Christian: I think the colors are primary made to attract customers into the store. Most systems are sold in classic colors, but a combo of a red BV4 rad BL8000 and red BL7.2 just looks more striking, and makes people stare. Christian is quite correct, the vast majority of products are sold in the neutral colors: silver/grey/black, the colors for the

What a fascinating poser! I think you're right in that people can better relate to some common object, even over a ruler. And the shirt button idea strikes me as brilliant for a start. But Martin, do we use the placket button, or the sleeve/collar button? They're not the same! Ultimately you may have to resort to an english/metric ruler I suppose

I'll admit that it only takes loosening of 4 screws to get the grills/frets/screens off of the BeoLab 5...but it takes about 45 minutes to get to those screws, and you'll need a VERY long Torx screwdriver once you're there. I'm sure that your dealer will help you out, but from experience, I'd say that 'delighted' is a bit
