Yes, most of it comes off easily and cleanly, but the edges where it was glued to the diaphragm and the basket will most likely be very sticky and messy indeed, and the only real way to remove it from the diaphragm edge is to roll it off with your thumb. It is actually quite easy to do, but if you are thinking of going to the dealer, I've been advised

Hi there The rubber surrounds do that, which is very annoying, but there are 2 ways to cure the problem. Firstly you buy new drive units from B&O. easily fitted yourself, or they can do it for you. Or you can refoam them yourself. The foams are available cheaply on eBay, and easily fitted with some latex adhesive. By far the worst bit is removing
