Sorry about the last post - the system cut my message short. I got access to the service menu by pressing menu setup play 00 play. I changed the remote control to BL1000 but I've still got NTSC in Black and white. The VX7000 and V6000 have no problem in playing these in colour. How do I get the V8000 to do the same? David

It is actually menu>setup>play>00

I need to access the service menu on a V8000 to optimise it for use with Beolink 1000/LX4500. At the moment it is set up for Beo4 use. Also the machine is playing NTSC tapes only in Black and White. The VX7000 has a switch on the rear to play NTSC tapes on a PAL tv. How do I do this on the V8000? Thanks for any help. David

I used Beoplayer to load Beosound 2 but found Windows Media player 10 can do it more easily. The main problem I find is that the text is very small and being on a black background is difficult to see easily. WMP10 I find excellent (I rolled back from WMP11), it loads up quickly and does not sap memory - easy to organise etc. Can't comment on ITunes

Roger: But I would like to see the BeoCenter 6 series expanded to cater for the rest of us, that would like a more traditional centerpiece in our well-arranged living room. Roger Agree. BC6/BV6 is a much more appropriate BV3/LX/MX replacement than BV8. There needs to be several different versions to include the popular 32" screen size. Importantly there

Using a CD7000 connected to the BM6000 type 225x TP2 phono input I find the amplifier volume level needs to be set very much higher to achieve the same sound output as an FM transmission or from the Phono/TP1 DIN inputs. Is there a way to increase the sensitivity of the phono inputs? I tried another source (MS Zune) and it's the same. I used a CDX for

3400SJ, what a fantastic TV - The first colour set we had. The picture was superb and very natural.I remember it gave off a lot of heat and latterly was subject to many engineers visits. Our next one was the 8800 followed by the LX5500 which I still have. B&O's 16:9 CRT offerings did not tempt me. The Avant was too bulky and BV3 left the classic look

Thankyou for the replies Mark & Martin. All three remote units have good batteries and work fine with the MCL.82. I am sure the fault lies somewhere in the module/sensor on the BM6000. I did check for dust build-up in the sensor housing and thoroughly cleaned, I also checked the sensor had not moved in the holder. My dealer continues to insist that

When working normally BM6000 responds to remote control and works well even when not directly pointed at the sensor. An intermittent fault has developed requiring the remote to be held within approx 10cm from the sensor to work. The sensor fault is unpredictable. I have three 2035 terminals so have ruled out problems with those. I have an MCL.82 connected
