I´m not sure regarding connection to other DECT base. I know that an upgraded MK1 cannot connect to the new beoline base. It has to be the "square" one. http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=1234

Ett alternativ till att köpa äldre utrustning bara för att kunna ansluta passiva högtalare är att köpa en Beolink Passive. Det är ett förstärkare som man ansluter mellan sin Beo anläggning och de passiva högtalarna. Jag hade Bose högtalare kopplade på det viset till min Beosound 3000

If I recall correctly, the MK1 need to be firmware upgraded, to be able to work with a separate base. MK2 already has that functionality. The upgrade is a minor thing and your dealer will do it for you. Would guess less than 50 eur.

Simplest way is to get an Airport Express and connect it to AUX on your BS9000. You control iTunes over the WLAN using e.g. an iPod Touch. Enjoy the drink :-)

I simply unplugged the TV set for a while. When restarted it worked just fine again, with the new remote. Case closed.

Understand from the BV8 manual that "config" "video" shall be set to "video 2" but still not working with the tv. Do I need to adjust "option" also?
