i don't just have lossless cd's on my mac , i use eyetv to record all my tv shows and archive them , got just about every top gear ever shown on the thing and still plenty of space plus 'other' sorts of audio visual entertainment that you find on the net - ahem ;) i like the bs5 don't get me wrong , it just seems a tad limited

looks nice , but no video support and only a 500 gb hd ? i'll stick with my apple set up , ta 3 tb's and a two way remote for half the price

£4k and you can't connect an ipod to it oh dear for that i can get a mac / sony av set up that would wipe the floor with this thing

my dad is 71 , he has always hated computers and thought they were pointless and over complicated a year ago i gave him my imac dual core , now you can't get him off the thing he's got itunes full of jack jones , frank sinatra and all sorts of golden oldies stuff , he surfs the web all day , loves google earth and even plays games on it rather

i used to rant on and on about how bno and apple should have closer ties and for some reason bno actually thought they could compete and even beat apple didn't help dell , that attitude but good luck to 'em , they'll need it

my avant's black and i must say it does look very sexy

i'd go for the beosystem 8000 from the early 80's still imho the ultimate bno system , design and performance wise it still looks futuristic almost 30 years after it's intro nuff said !
