marcus_m: Have you tried changing the option programming to 1? Marcus Marcus wins. With the Beo4, I change the BeoVision1 OPTION to 1. The Beo1 now works in all its glory. However the Beo4 no longer works, which is a shame because I was hoping to be able to use both. I need to be able to press SAT/DVD/RADIO to access the linked sources. So OPTION1 worked

Craig: Is the remote sending out a beam for anything other than stand by. You may be able to see the LED in the end lighting up with the naked eye. If not try looking at it with the camera on a mobile phone. Craig I see 2 lights for every button pressed. Thanks I like that trick, I wasn't sure what to expect when I read your post.

Keith Saunders: Richard, Sorry for the delay in responding to your question. The Beo1 was sold with some versions of the Beocentre 1 and Beovision 1 Your Beovision LS Type 865X was sold with a Beo4. You can look at the "Remote Control" type in the Service Menu by:- Press MENU to get yourself into the Beovision MENU Press 0 0 GO which then

I unplugged the masterlink from the Bv1 but still the remote did nothing. Does anyone know about the Service Menu "Remote Control" section and why mine has ???? all over it.
