i have (had) a similar set-up. in simplest terms, you want to use the extreme to establish the network, and use the express as a client, rather than establish a separate network... i will try to find some better links, but this may help for now... my 9300 plays them fine, though it is newer than the 9000... anyone else? ++++edit++++ quick note: there has been some discussion on here recently re: the devaluation of the 9000 primarily because of failure w/ the cd unit, esp the clamping device. apparently parts are scarce or perhaps impossible to find unless someone is parting a working one out
