• Re: Not bad and it cost nothing to produce apparently, just hard work!!
This page http://www.aboutus.org/BeOpHile.com gives the owner as Enom Inc. A little google work brings up this page full of interesting reading, if it is indeed Steve behind this, he's ended up in bad company http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/256/RipOff0256553.htm Speaks for itself, same goes for those related

  • Re: Beogram 4002 AC version Arm lowers and then pops up - FIXED

Now that was clever! I'll need to try the same trick on mine when I have the deck open the next time.

  • Re: switch off 2nd speakers beocenter 9300

Not possible with just the gear you have now, I'm afraid. If you don't mind the main room speakers being on all the time (and a slight pop when turning the Beocenter on) you might just swap the speakers 1 & 2 around, then the mute function will work on the extra room only. If you need more elaborate control, you need an external box like

  • Re: B&O Turntable mystery
You're probably right Llewelyn, but didn't the Beolab 5000 system come with the BG4000 as the recommended deck? Chris.
Don't think so - Beolab 5000 was out of production some years before the BG4000 came out (1968-71 vs 1974-). But that never prevented movie makers from using them in the same scene

  • Re: beogram 6000 problem
How do I test it ? Is it this? The arm moves back and forward, lowers properly but then remains stuck in his position http://forum.beoworld.org/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Components.PostAttachments/00.00.20.98.09/assembly.jpg
That's it. Since you can drive the arm both ways, the motor, its belt and
<grabbed the camera> Remember the 80's? I, ah, er, umm...
Great, but how did you manage to keep Don Johnson out of the picture?

Nice pic! I just have to post how the same situation might have looked like 35 years ago (just faking though, I didn't have any batteries...)

  • Re: beotime - on time ?

If the price is reasonable (which, IMO, is somewhere between the £100 and 300 euros that have been mentioned so far), this might be the first B&O I will buy myself new! For more than 10 years, my alarm clocks have all been branded Nokia and doubled as cellular phones, but this could be finally something more useful as an alarm clock...

  • Re: Any mathematicians out there?
Still don't agree with this. If you had a 550 side dice as the random number generator, you will always have a 1 in 550 chance of your number coming up no matter what is rolled before. There is no possible link. It is likely if you roll the dice 550 times that it may come up but if you have rolled it 549 times and

If I throw it twice then chance of my number coming up in any of the throws is 1/6 + 1/6 = 2/6 = 1/3.
I found for you (and Soundproof): The probability of an event can be expressed as a binomial probability if its outcomes can be broken down into two
