erimille: Friedmett: I too agree that S45-2's are truly great sounding speakers. The beomaster 4000 / beovox s45-2 combination is a really enjoyable one. I expect to swap in my reference DAC to see just how accurate this system can be, but even without this in the mix this system has the synergy that makes my ears (and eyes) very happy. --e oops

well i suppose it depends on what you consider "vintage?" how far do you want to go back? for instance, a recent thread had listed how long some current products have been around, surprisingly some dating back into the early 90's. i have found that many of the older say 70 - 80's equipment so well made that they have little to no issues
