  • Re: RGB vs. CVBS

With regard to the Sync'ing of the picture with RGB, the sync signal can be seperate, appear with the blue lead or as with VGA have two seperate Hsync & Vsync signals along with the RGB, that is why it can often be difficult to fully understand the causes of RGB problems. In the case of most set-top boxes RGB and CVBS are provided together and

  • Re: RGB vs. CVBS

Jeddy, Based on your feedback it seems that the BeoVision IS receiving RGB from your STB, the picture will not be viewable because of the lack of sync pulses as others have pointed out, but in your answer you do state that you DO get a picture, albeit rolling etc, so cutting pin 19 & 20 has proved that. So, we can now be sure that the STB is sending

Jeddy, Your answers are very interesting, but raise more questions than it answers. I think we need to give more thought to this problem, I will get back later after I have done a bit of research.

  • Re: Beolink 5000 & Beocom 6000 sevice manuals?

Simon, You are correct about reading that the Mark II BeoCom 6000 has a different charging voltage, but in fact that statement was incorrect. The charging voltage for both Mark I and Mark II is 5.5 volts. After the modification is completed you will ONLY be able to put your upgraded Mark I BeoCom handset in a Mark I charger. When you receive your kit

  • Re: Lutron

The major problem people have installing a Grafik Eye into an existing room are two fold It is recommended that it be on its own mains breaker and not connected to the lighting ring because most home lighting rings tend to be limited to 6 amps. If you do use the lighting ring and if you are in the UK or a country which does not bring the neutral line

  • Re: FAQ LC2 dimmer alternatives and Beo4 controlled lights

Q - Are there any other Lutron products I can use with the Beo4 A - Yes, you can install Lutron Homeworks which can if you wish control almost anything in your home. Q - Why does B&O no longer offer a lighting product like the LC2 A - Because B&O now have a formal business relationship with Lutron wheer Lutron installers work with B&O installers

  • Re: beolab 6000 auto power on and off problem

Certainly the B&O dealer should be able to do the job for you, but if you or someone you know can use a soldering iron and you are willing to purchase the two components, it would certainly be the cheaper option. If the cost is not a problem, then let the B&O dealer do it for you. Many (most) B&O products these days do not have a mains earth

  • Re: Answerphone BeoTalk 1100

Nathan, I am assuming that you have a Microfilter on each on your phone lines ? please confirm There are some issues with the BeoTalk 1100 & 1200 where either the line stays open for some seconds/minutes after the call is terminated on a few calls and/or a message is left, but there is no NEWS number, so the user does not press the news button and

  • Re: Beolink 5000 & Beocom 6000 sevice manuals?

Simon, You will NOT need a soldering iron because all the components are surface mounted. The problem you have is caused by a fault on the board in the phone, however the Mark I boards are no longer available, but you can purchase a kit for about £40 which will fix your problem and also make your Mark I phone into a Mark II phone except you will
