I have an MS6000 as my kichen/diner TV. It's an MX chassis with different software and limited connectivity. Picture and sound is every bit as good as my MX. Can't check exactly at the moment 'cos Nobby's AV9000 is parked in front of it!! I've never heard of a MS4000 though. Probably a development model that is still hanging around

I would think the back up battery needs replacing.

I thought the video was hilarious. SWMBO didn't find it funny at all but when I consider the crap she watches on the tele I can quite understand.

And you spotted them, so you are well on your way to using ebay with your eyes wide open!!

Henry: Better odds than buying a real B&O piece on Ebay. Rubbish! Buy with your eyes wide open and brain in gear and its the best marketplace in the world. Buy with your eyes closed and lacking common sense and you'll get shafted just as you would doing anything else.

The price of 1000's is irrelevent Mobe as they are tiny compared to the 7000's. Price will depend on condition with top price for mint/boxed being £200 or so. Any tears in the fabric and the price plummets as you cannot replace it with the original. Just my opinion though.........

I know someone who had their RL140's refurbished at Recone Labs in the UK. They are based in Huddersfield.

But the 6500 service manual is not on the site either Kevin.

jonnyb: Yuck! I couldn't disagree more. With respect PD, there's nothing more wearing than having to look at horrible fonts in rainbow colours. I think being able to define one's own avatar is creative freedom enough. If everyone starts posting in different fonts and colours the forum will just become a tiring mess to look at. Can we please

We'll soon have so many posts pinned at the top of the general forum it won't be worth looking at it!
