Agree. I have all the B&O headphones and never use any of them except A8s for mobile use. I use either Sennheiser HD600s or Grado RS1s. I do use a headphone amplifier and the ones fitted to most devices are an afterthought. I don't know about the one in the BS9000, but the one in the BC2 is dire. I use a Musical Fidelity X-Can V3.

The easdiest way to post pictures is using the attach file function. Write your post, then click on optios at the top of your reply. This opens a box and allows you to choose a file from your computer. Make sure it is a reasonably sized jpg.

Been in contact with Axel and I am having three cartridges restored and will report on the progress. Just packaged them up so will post them tomorrow. Seems very friendly though not able to do photos of the work as it is all done down the microscope.

They are designed to be listened to sitting down. That way, the tweeters are at ear level. It makes quite a difference! They are not as bright as 8000s for instance though.

Those look like thin ones - they will not be fully wired so I would expect there to be no display. Still surprised you get no sound though. Do you have any other B&O active speakers?
