From a distance of 4-5m on a 65" display, I struggle to tell the difference between standard definition and high definition other than a slight increase in depth. So yes, it definitely DOES upscale, and does a much better job of it than my Philips upscaling DVD player!

It's a shame that CoverFlow isn't intergrated into FrontRow, they really missed something there, as it's almost there. Apple introduced full screen CoverFlow with the latest major iTunes update, and they could have added it into FrontRow with remote control capabilities pretty easily...
