  • Re: Magnificent sound REproduction

It's interesting to see the comments about the CD7000, because I'd have to agree. When listening through my CD7000, BM6500 & B&W DM7s, there's something far more musical than modern B&O. The sound stage also sounds more natural in a really hard-to-describe way. It just seems to ram the music down your throat, in comparison to

  • Re: BeoVision 8

There's no adaptive light sensor? I don't remember that being specified. Next they'll be excluding the remote control sensor!

  • Re: RSS ???

It's basically a way of reading the threads and posts on the forum without the Forum's 'skin' or design. For example, you can get a screensaver to read the RSS feed, and display it's contents. OS X has one built in...

  • Re: BeoSystem 3

Yes, the PlayStation 3 is controlled via Bluetooth, NOT Infra Red. If you can come up with a solution, it would be good to know.

  • Re: Beo 4

They serve a million and one different functions. They work as the coloured buttons when controlling a set top box, they serve many different functions whilst operating a DVD player, such as calling up the DVD menu, they function different things with certain CD players as well. For example you can open and close the CD tray in a BeoSound 1 with the

  • Re: review of beosound 3 please...?

Agreed that the BeoSound 3 is the best portable radio around. The sound is absolutely second to none, and the build quality/finish is fantastic. However, I went for the Tivoli iPal because it has an input connection, meaning I can connect my iPod/MBP which has proven VERY useful, especially when away on holiday/trips etc... and we want to watch a DVD

Peter: I am not judging the BV8 till I have seen it. Its main problem will be that LCD TVs are so cheap now and a stand alone 26" for £2000 seems rather expensive unless it really is good. And if it is that good, why buy a BC6? The lack of digital tuner is the big disappointment to me. A free standing set - but needing an extra box immediately

  • Re: Beolab 4000 Polarization issue?

I used to get the same kind of thing, shocks off BeoCenter 2s and pretty much everything, along with my laptop and even my touch sensitive lamp. Since I started wearing Vans I don't get it any more, maybe something to do with your soles?

  • Re: iPhone

jk1002: Even though I am a huge Apple fan i am not too exited about the iphone. I haven't seen a single product from Apple that was built durable enough to retain it's appeal during daily use. I am pretty sure that after 4 weeks it will be scratched regardless how carefull one is. Unless they deliver it with some sort of smart protective case

  • Re: David Lewis

9 LEE: I think David Lewis has done, and is still doing an excellent job! However, much as we have to come to terms with it, nothing lasts forever. The man (or woman) that replaces him will have a huge pair of boots to fill.... Lee Agreed! David Lewis has taken B&O design in a completely different direction. Don't know where anybody got this
