Suggest you remove the glass door that is fitted. Simply lift it by it's outer edge and it will come ouit of it's clips. Then remove the shiny black plastic panels that are behind the doors. Best done with a butter knife along the outer edge. They just clip in. This will reveal the sensors which are half way down both outer edges of the main

The frets are the grey fabric covers on the front of the speakers. The cloth is mounted on a plastic frame which is fragile so take care. My method of removal involves using a butter knife or similar as a lever between the side of the fret and the plastic display panel. Lift carefully until you can get your finger behind the fret and ease it off down

If you remove the lower fret you will see the four midrange drivers arranged vertically in the centre of the speaker. These are the only drivers in the system that have foam surrounds which is inclined to rot and break up with age. Agreed Peter. Not what I would do or recommend but in theory it is possible. Result would probably be less than acceptable!
