Just had a panic! Came to make a post on here, but my wireless keyboard had flat batteris. Hi George. You have two issues here. It doesn'y matter how good or bad the battery is, it should still work in the charger. A battery replacement can cost a lot less than having it replaced by your dealer. Have a look at THIS thread, read the whole thing. As for the 'No contact' issue, try removing all components then adding them again.

Fascinating! I thought that the numbers etc were sent via DECT to a Beoline and stored there. Amazed to find there is storage in the Serene dock. Thanks for the info, and I hope your battery lasts a bit longer now. Andy T.

david707: advice was to remove the base from the handset's memory and register it again. Better to remove the handset from the base's memory. Do you have a working handset to do this?

Great thread Henry. I'd love to say Beolab 5s, but I think that will be some time yet. I think the next major purchase will be either Beosound 9000, I've been leaning towards this for ages. I'd love to see N Radio or N Music on my Penta displays. Or What my Beolab 5000 amp is crying out for, a Beogram 3000 Thorens (preferably) or Acoustical
