Make them yourself and get any length you want. 2-pin DIN connectors are available in just about any electronics store (and even Biltema), and 2x0.75 mm2 lamp cord is plenty good for speaker use (heavier than B&O factory cables!). If you'd rather have molded connectors, I believe the cables are still available at the dealer, and the prices aren't

You probably need to run a ground wire from the chassis of the Beogram to the earthing screw on your amp.

Have to agree with you Graham. Although I would prefer a Beo4 otherwise, but not having a direct PHONO button (or SHIFT for A.Tape2) is a nuisance.

I have 2 pcs Video Terminal 2 pcs Beolink 1000 3 pcs Beo4 MCP6500 Beolink 7000 ...so that makes nine. And I still often find that I would like to have a Beolink 1000 for some operation when I'm holding a Beo4, and vice versa!

Another, completely free, choice is Audacity . 10 m / 30 ft / from a room to another should not be a too long distance for a line level signal. However, since the Beosystem and the PC will then be powered from mains sockets far away from each other, you might get a a mains hum that will ruin the recordings. I would just carry the PC over to the Beosystem
