When the stand is connected it will show as an option in the Picture command along side brightness, contrast, and colour.

You need to install a Beolink Active in the dining room connected to the Ouverture with ML cable. Connect the speakers to the Active to have independent control of volume and tone settings in that room. S..t! You Beat me Craig

I am afraid that you have to decide whether you want absolute sound quality or acceptable sound with absolute style. None of the current crop of low/medium cost B&O speakers will give you opera house or concert sound quality as no matter how much technical wizardry they put in the box, the drivers are simply too small. I made my decision years ago

Sorry, I can't answer your query, please contact your dealer!

Quite correct Andy so I've edited the post. I'd just been reading Lee's post on the white 7000 system and I was over excited!!

Polishing the base will be futile. The aluminium has been anodised and will be impossible to restore to it's original condition by polishing, in fact it will probably make the situation worse as it will remove even more of the anodised layer. Is the unit still under warranty? If yes then you should insist that the base is replaced by the dealer

You need to set the 6500 to option 0 and the MX6000 to option 2. Then all commands will be routed through the MX. With everything in standby take your beolink 1000 and press Picture 2 Store then Sound 0 Store The standby light on the relevent item should blink as the command is accepted.

Sounds like you need the service manual. Send Peter on this forum a PM and he'll send you a password to download it from his site as it's not on beoworld yet.
