Ok so I'm trying to attach a DVD2 to a Mark 3 BV7 (with an internal DVD). DVD2 is attached to AV1 via HDMI and Audio is via SP-DFI to AV1. I've added the DVD2 to the Beo4 so I can get to it using LIST. Pressing DVD2 on the Beo4 gets to the DVD2 connection, although it's now asking me for time & date but I can't use the remote to

Ah the hive mind......... Ok, I'm thinking of trying to get a BM5500 stack to play out of the speaker setup of a BV7. I was guessing AUX port to 1611 convertor to ML socket. Will this actually work? I'm not sure if the BM5500 does different modes to play through the TV?!?!?! P.S. There is currently a BS900 connected to the TV via ML and was

It can be done with a special (?)remote control and a list of instructions (and possibly a few attempts! Find a tame B&O engineer to do it for you.

Has anyone tried a Passive / MCL2P with a BV7, does it pick up a pair of speakers or just a single one? Also should I really sort out a Sub?

Stephen, when you set Speaker 5 up and then go to the menu to show what Sound envuironment is working, does it show Dolby 5.1 or Dolby Pro Logic? cheers

Thanks for ther replies, although it doesn't let me assign the rear speakers, only surround ones and this is backed up by what is says in the manual. It won't let you save them as rear only as surround. It looks like its running 5.08, is this a known issue? Cheers
