Hi: Finally got around to looking at the back of the set. Thus can someone give a rough idea re age and type from these details? s/n 11903465 type 8133 s/w 2.1 Thanks Graham

Hi: Well I have been meaning to find out what exactly my Avant was so: s/n 11903465 type 8133 s/w 2.1 If someone could give a rough age that would also be good. Thanks Graham

Hi: Yes there probably is a way to do this but without knowing the model of he TV it is difficult. The best way to find out is to look at the back of the set near the scarts and powerlink sockets and see if you can see a thin elongated (about an inch long) and half a CM in height socket. If so that is master link. I don't think you can get an external

That probably wouldn't be a problem. I will let you know in like five years+ (I hope when it will be acceptable for it to break). I have a curvy screen one I think so I doubt it will work anyway.

Hi: This is very interesting to me as my relationship with purchases of the type that I class B&O as are long term investments. I have a 28" Avant and whilst it only gets occasional use of an evening and sometimes during the day I do like having it there and I have grown accustomed to it - I am happy that it is there. I would like to think

Hi: I think I know there is something called Beolink Wireless which works in lieu of masterlink cables etc. I would like to link my two TVs in this way - my Avant in the lounge and my Beovision 1 in the bedroom. Is it possible to do this? What equipment would I need to do so? Thanks Graham

I saw one on eBay the other day for £5 with an hour to go. That has obviously gone now though. I think I am going to get one too, and then a Beo 5 and then the other one that goes up and down and is two way and that I forget the name of. Even though I don't have any two way stuff, I just think it will provide hours of entertainment watching

Aren't b&o supposed to keep stuff in stock for ten years after it has been removed from the range? If that is the case then I would expect all Beovision 3 stuff to be available. That said I could have made this all up.

Further to that, they may have a good re-sale value in a few years as they were a flop and thus not many made. I am thinking of getting one for my Beovision 1 as it looks nice (in my opinion) and would be good for a spare remote.
