Let's put it this way: if Apple makes an entire TV it's game over for all of us. It will not be a high quality video display, it will be a high security content prison. Think of everything you can't do on an AppleTV and now apply those limitations to the entire TV experience.

B&O hasn't caught on in America yet because they refuse to put dippin' sauce holders in the remotes. Until Americans can dip their chicken fingers, onion rings, steak skewers, etc. into a savory sauce held in their remote, they'll seek out other manufacturers. Simple as that.

The fork handle will respond to the heat from your hand and the tines will slowly emerge when in use and retract when placed on the table. This feature will seldom work. Glad I could do your homework for you.

I was just being glib. I think that it's a good idea and any dealer that does larger installations knows that it's the $50 box that brings down the whole system. We routinely leave a router, baluns, and an extra booted cable box on larger job sites. Each project calls for its own redundancies, but these cheap accessory devices will ultimately

I'd take it a step further and have an identical system waiting in the cellar in case anything goes wrong. So far response to this idea has been luke warm.

Actually not using a link kit is a hassle. It's designed for exactly this purpose. Then you can choose the link option and keep them from responding to one another's IR commands.
