Hi, Does the BL3500 work with N.Music and N.Radio when directly accessed using the Beo4? I can't get it to work (although that's probably because of option 4 mode, at least I hope so). thanks, justin

Can anyone else with this combination change playlists? Just wondering if I'm the only one that can't. For the record the colored buttons work, as does up and down. In N.Radio the number buttons work as well.

I'm going to have to try that with the Beoport and the non-broadcast station. I think I can just make my own in iTunes. Naturally my TV doesn't have an audio in since it has the HDMI... but since the monitor port on the Mini is DVI then there's no sound =(
-
Coolskin: The audio is split at the Mac Mini by ways of an audio splitter cable. Ah, okay. This doesn't degrade the sound too much? I guess it can't be that bad considering the little pinner audio cable they included with the Beoport. My monitor at work came with a better one!

Woohoo! The DVI-HDMI cable took care of everything! Now a question of sound... I just got my Beoport yesterday and want to hook it up to the Mac that'll be doing the DVDpedia stuff. Is it possible? Will the Mac's sound come out of my stereo?

Hi, Okay it's a couple of questions. I'm tricky like that. 1. If I have the audio from my Mac going to the Beoport, and then I want to watch a movie from the Mac to the TV, how does that even work? Will the sound go over my stereo? Or do I just end up with no sound anymore, thus negating the whole purpose of watching a movie from the Mac? 2

What I did was buy a 2nd pair of speakers to connect straight to the TV. So I've got my BL6000s and a KEF sub connected to the BeoSound 4 and then I have a pair of BL4000s connected to the TV. Then my AppleTV and DVD go to the TV and I just listen to that stuff with the 4000s. I did this because I was tired of all the surround wiring and stuff everywhere

soundproof: What connection do you have? I use a DVI-to-HDMI to my 720p/1080i BeoVision 8, and was mightily impressed when Detect Displays on the Mac immediately recognized BeoVision 8! VGA =( I'm pretty sure it's my craptacular Toshiba. If I use <name of program that I can't remember> to force a resolution like 1366x722 (or whatever
-
Can't do Lynx. People will think Atari is releasing a handheld gaming system so that you can play Pitfall at the airport.
-
Ah I totally forgot about this thread! Okay, the resolution problem isn't on the Mini. It's the latest revision. It's the 1080i that's the problem. I bought too early/cheap. If it was 1080p then I'd have no problems since the Mini would know it natively over the DVI. But... it doesn't work out that way for me. The mpeg-4 idea
